OneID: one Canadian identity.
One account, verified once, for every DollarMates app. OneID is a privacy-first sign-in and identity service, built and hosted in Canada — and you choose what each app gets to see.
Sign in once. Share on your terms.
Open any DollarMates app
On the web or on your phone. The app never asks you to create another password.
Sign in with OneID
One account, protected by more than a password, every time.
Choose what to share
The first time, the app shows exactly which details it wants. You allow or deny each one.
Private by default. Secure by design.
OneID is built so that keeping your identity safe is the default, not a setting you have to find.
One account, every app
A single sign-in for the DollarMates apps you use — jobs, payments, community and more — with one place to manage your details.
You decide what apps see
Apps ask before they get your email, phone, date of birth or address, and each request shows whether that detail is verified.
Canadian data stays in Canada
OneID is built and hosted in Canada. Canadian accounts are stored in Canada.
Multi-factor, always
Every account uses a second factor. OneID is designed around passkeys, security keys and authenticator apps, with SMS kept for low-risk apps only.
No tracking between apps
Each app gets its own identifier for you, so apps can’t join up what you do across them.
Verify once, reuse it
Confirm your email and mobile with a code, your address by mail, and your ID with a selfie check. Then share “verified” instead of documents.
Recovery without security questions
Single-use recovery codes replace “mother’s maiden name”. Recovering an account takes two independent proofs and signs you out everywhere.
Biometrics handled with care
ID checks need your express consent. No face templates are kept, there is no face database, and images are deleted after review.
Support that can’t snoop
Support staff see your details masked. Revealing anything needs a reason and a ticket, and every view goes in a tamper-evident log.
